Becoming an ICAPE associate

To avoid conflicts of interest with affiliated groups, only organizations can join ICAPE; memberships are not available to individuals. Individuals are welcome to participate in ICAPE conferences. We also encourage people to consider participating in one or more of the organizations that make up ICAPE, if they do not already [see the "ICAPE associates" area of this website].

I. An ASSOCIATION may choose its level of participation according to the following scale:

501-1000	$800	2 directors
1000+	$1,000	3 directors

IMPORTANT NOTE: An association may choose a level of payment and representation below its actual membership level. For example, a group comprised of 501 members may choose to join at the $800 level (allowing them to appoint 2 Directors to the Board), the $300 level (with the same level of representation), the $200 level (allowing them to appoint 1 Director to the Board), the $100 level (again allowing 1 Director), or the $10 level (allowing only an Observer).

Observers may attend Board of Directors’ meetings, but are prohibited from voting. Directors are fully-participating members of the Board.

II. A GROUP (journal, publisher, department, institute, project) may choose to pay $200 (½ that if group is nonprofit) and be represented by a Director, or $10 if the Observer level is preferred.

Memberships run for the academic year, August through July.
